What the buyer is asking for
The Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) requires professional services support to the Chief Innovation and Technology Office (CITO) to advance the modernization of the IRB’s current case management application ecosystem through the Digital Case Modernization (DCM) initiative. This support will enable the IRB to define, design, validate, and implement modern digital solutions that improve the sustainability, interoperability, security, and scalability of its case management capabilities.
The DCM initiative is intended to address current limitations in the IRB case management environment. Through this requirement, the IRB seeks specialized expertise to support analysis, architecture, technical design, software development, integration, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities required to modernize the platform in a controlled and phased manner.
More specifically, the objective is to support the transition of the IRB case management ecosystem toward a modernized, cloud-aligned microservices architecture and operating model that can better support future service improvements, business agility, data sharing, reporting, and the introduction of emerging capabilities such as advanced automation and Artificial Intelligence.
